In the spirit of modern, transparent, and student-centered education, the Information and Communication Technology Directorate (ICT Directorate) has implemented a digital feature dedicated to evaluating the teaching activity of professors, integrated within the SIMU platform.
🎓 What is this feature?
It is an online solution that allows students to evaluate each professor at the end of the semester, on a per-course basis. Evaluations are completely anonymous and secure, and the form is accessible through the personal web interface of SIMU.
🧠 What does this solution offer?
-
A modern method for students to express their opinions on the educational process;
-
Structured and valuable feedback for teaching staff and faculty management;
-
The ability to analyze performance indicators, strengths, and areas for improvement;
-
Centralized reports for data-driven decision-making.
📊 Evaluations are conducted through an intuitive questionnaire, available in multiple languages (Romanian, English, Russian), with scores automatically generated and linked to the actual courses in the timetable. Additionally, the system allows the display of real quotes from student responses, reflecting appreciation for engagement and teaching quality.
📌 Impact
This digital initiative reinforces:
-
A culture of quality in education;
-
Open and constructive communication between students and professors;
-
A model of a modern university focused on performance and accountability.
🧩 The digital survey is part of UTM’s strategy for digital transformation and reflects the university’s commitment to an excellent educational process supported by technology.
All these projects are carried out with the direct support of the UTM Rector and the Vice-Rector for Digitalization, who actively promote the modernization of the university through advanced technologies and integrated digital infrastructures.
