Interactive Virtual Tour at UTM – Bringing the University Closer to Its Future Students

In the context of the ongoing modernization of the university’s digital infrastructure, the Information and Communication Technology Directorate (ICT Directorate) has launched a new digital feature at the Technical University of Moldova: the UTM Virtual Tour – an innovative tool that allows exploration of campuses, classrooms, laboratories, and research centers entirely online.

Each academic space comes to life in an interactive digital experience, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the UTM universe from anywhere and at any time. This solution addresses the needs of young people seeking a modern, open university that aligns with the expectations of the 21st-century generation.

🧭 What does this virtual tour offer?

  • An accessible and engaging presentation of the university’s infrastructure;

  • A valuable tool during the admission period, providing students and parents with their first interaction with the academic spirit of UTM;

  • The possibility to remotely visit centers of excellence, specialized laboratories, green spaces, and study rooms.

🎯 Why is it important?
Because education begins with an inspired choice. Because transparency and openness of a modern university should be visible even online. And because UTM moves forward – with technologies, digital solutions, and vision.

The virtual tour is already available on the official page utm.md/universitatea-mea or can be accessed directly at:

🔧 This feature is part of a suite of information platforms developed by the ICT Directorate, aimed at supporting the university’s digital transformation and bringing it closer to the academic community and the wider public.

All these projects are carried out with the direct support of the UTM Rector and the Vice-Rector for Digitalization, who actively promote the modernization of the university through advanced technologies and integrated digital infrastructures.
