In an innovative effort to bring technology closer to tradition, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate has developed and deployed an information platform dedicated to wine evaluation at the Technical University of Moldova. This digital solution supports teaching and research activities in the field of enology and viticulture, providing a professional infrastructure for organized wine tastings.
🍇 What does the platform allow?
The system enables:

Management of wine databases (including information about the producer, year of production, alcohol concentration, etc.);

Uploading photographs for each evaluated wine;

Organization of tasting events (with definition of the committee, category, and selection of participating wines);

Digital completion of tasting sheets by each committee member;

Centralized tracking of results and report generation.
🌍 User Interface:
The interface is designed for two types of users – Taster and Administrator – and is easy to use on any internet-connected device. Events are efficiently managed, and feedback is collected in a structured manner, significantly reducing paper usage and the risk of human error.
